Watkins Glen: From Summer Jam ’73 to Super Ball IX

This will be a pretty big festival. Probably the likes of which that has not been seen here in the Finger Lakes since 1973. That event, Watkins Glen Summer Jam featured the Grateful Dead and attracted an estimated 600,000 people to Schuyler County village on the southern-most tip of Seneca Lake. While there is no known footage of the 1973 music fest, there is this audio recording of the Dead's performance of 'Here Comes Sunshine' with some imagery:
